Sheffield looking doomed as Macc hit back

STRUGGLING Sheffield look destined for relegation following this defeat.
This was despite striking first after a break allowed No.8 Jonathan France to score. William Hodgson missed the conversion.
It took a while for Macclesfield to respond, but they kicked into the corner and it gave David Marwick the opportunity to score. Charlie Reed added the conversion for a 7-5 lead.
Macclesfield were turned over at their own scrum with half-time nearing. Sheffield scored the resulting penalty through Hodgson for an 8-7 lead.
