Lamprey double as Hoppers jump to it

IN the battle of the top two, Preston Grasshoppers increased their lead at the top of the table, beating second place Harrogate 24-17 at Lightfoot Lanes.
Hoppers scored tries through Ollie Trippier, Matt Lamprey (2) and Ali Murray to secure the bonus point. Jake Squirrel was successful with two conversions.
Harrogate, who trailed 24-3 coming up to the final whistle, engineered two tries in added time from Tim Heaton and Sam Brady, both converted by White to take the losing bonus point.
Hull hang on in third spot, despite being held to a 7-7 draw away at Ilkley.
