Disgraceful to throw TMO under the bus

I MUST give my few penneth over the controversy surrounding last Saturday’s match. For World Rugby’s Allain Rolland to publicly throw the TMO under the bus by agreeing that it was a try and the TMO was wrong was totally reprehensible.
Disagree in private but agree in public! What are TMOs going to think when confronted with anything less than a cut and dried incident? No wonder the referee pool is drying up when you have leadership that shallow.
