McGuigan heads back to Falcons

Back: George McGuigan

ENGLAND Saxons hooker George McGuigan is set to return to Newcastle Falcons when his Leicester contract runs out at the end of the season.
McGuigan, 24, made the reverse move in 2016 after spending five seasons at Kingston Park having come through the ranks at Mowden Park.
The former Ireland U18 and U20 international will be the second hooker to leave Welford Road this summer after Harry Thacker made the move to Bristol.
McGuigan, who hails from Richmond in North Yorkshire, has opted to sign a two-year contract with the Falcons after talks with Dean Richards.
