SALE SHARKS are close to signing Blue Bulls prop Pierre Schoeman who is out of contract at the end of the forthcoming Super Rugby campaign.
The 23-year-old former Springbok U20 international penned a two-year contract in 2016 and is yet to agree an extension.

Blindside reported in January that the Sharks were interested in Schoeman and we have been told that he has had talks with Steve Diamond. Schoeman is weighing up his options but we understand Sale are confident that they have done enough to get their man.
