GREGOR Townsend insists Scotland have a chance to win this year’s Six Nations but knows his side must win four games to do so.
Townsend, taking charge of his first Championship, has named a 40-man squad for the tournament, with experienced scrum-half Greig Laidlaw returning after a broken leg.
John Barclay retains the captain’s role he took on when Laidlaw was injured during last season’s Six Nations.
Uncapped props Murray McCallum and D’Arcy Rae are included, along with full-back Blair Kinghorn and scrum-half Nathan Fowles.
