LOUGHBOROUGH’S first home game of the year finished in nail-biting disappointment. After an upset at Caldy last weekend, the Students looked up for it against Elthamians. Play started at high velocity, with both teams opting for kicks and long, searching passes.
This was the pattern until the 20th minute, when Adam Preocanin scored in the corner and the conversion was kicked. Three minutes later, James Gollegde made a streaking run to the far corner for another score.
