Penallta through but injury marrs match

Welsh Division One round-up

HOLDERS Penallta are into the last 16 of the WRU National Plate – but their re-arranged third round tie at Cwmgors was marred by a neck injury sustained by home lock Mathew Vickers.
The match was abandoned at half time as a result with the Pitmen leading 19-0, while both sides agreed Penallta would go through to the next round. First half tries from Ryan Davies, Laurence Pritchard and Aeron Bidgood had set Penallta on their way while they will now travel to Crymych in round four next Saturday.
