A BRACE from wing Jordan Rees inspired 14- man Rhydyfelin to victory over Newbridge in their all-Championship National Cup first round clash. Rhydyfelin tight head Kelvyn Williams was shown a red card only 10 minutes into the contest after a mass brawl while home No.8 Sam Studley and Newbridge prop Scott Norton Hoskins were both yellow carded at the same time in what was a fiery start to the encounter.
The hosts edged a tight first half which contained very little try scoring opportunities and what was best described as a war of attrition.
