REDINGENSIANS Rams opened their New Year with three tries in 20 minutes against a young Worthing team stricken with injuries.
Two touchdowns from Tom Vooght and another from Colin Thomson gave the home side a 15-0 lead after just 20 minutes.
Worthing refused to lie down and slick handling put David McIlwaine through a gap to score in the 26th minute, Matt McLean adding the extras.
The Rams struck back though before and after the break with tries from Ollie Foxley and Ben Henderson to take a 20-point lead.
