Start of decline: London Welsh were relegated from the Aviva Premiership in May 2016

ON January 1, 2017, London Welsh met Yorkshire Carnegie in what would be their final match as a professional club. Two weeks later they were liquidated, their playing record for 2016-17 expunged and their players and coaches made redundant.
Two men badly affected by Welsh’s demise were fly-half Glyn Hughes and head coach James Buckland, who tell NEALE HARVEY about their traumatic experiences.
