JACK Maynard produced a fine display for Llandovery as they laboured to victory over Aberavon at a blustery Church Bank.
In an error-strewn game, both sides struggling with the basics of the game, all that separated them after half an hour was a penalty from the boot of Aberavon fly-half Steffan Williams.
