IT MUST be because of contractual obligations, but when will the TV chiefs realise that interviews with directors of rugby during a game, or in the case of the Anglo Welsh Cup, with the captains as they leave the pitch at half time, offer very little to the viewing public.
At half time during the Scarlets v Exeter game, an Exeter player was interviewed and the poor man could hardly talk, having just played 40 minutes of hard rugby.
