SECOND placed Narberth failed to take advantage of the inactivity of Championship leaders Pontypool as they managed only a losing bonus point in going down to inconsistent Newbridge.
Newbridge won 15-13 having been 10-3 up at the interval, and outscored their visitors two tries to one.
