WING Kyle Evans’ two second half tries inspired Merthyr as they battled back from behind to beat Cardiff.
The visitors lost No.8 Dan Crimmins to a leg injury but looked the better side in the first half with powerful full-back Dan Fish scoring a 34th minute try to add to an earlier 20- metre angled penalty from Gareth Thompson – who also converted the try.
