AMPTHILL showed excellent professionalism to turn over a determined Caldy, securing a bonuspoint win on a cold and blustery day at Paton Field.
After absorbing substantial pressure for large periods, Ampthill eventually secured victory in the final 15 minutes with tries from Josh Sharp and Joe Bercis.
Two early tries from Ampthill wing Nigel Baker were unsurprising to the home crowd with Caldy so often starting slowly.
