Springbok back rower joins Wasps

Cavalry: Nizaam Carr

WASPS have completed a deal that will see them sign Stormers back rower Nizaam Carr on a short term threemonth deal.
Carr, who has been capped five times by the Springbok, arrives at injury hit Wasps after playing for Western Province in yesterday’s Currie Cup Final.
The 26-year-old has been superb for Western Province this season and is it believed he could earn a recall to the national side in the near future.
Wasps might have secured Carr but they failed to sign a deal to sign NSW Waratahs hooker Hugh Roach after the plug was pulled at the last minute.
