Gloucester leave it too late to make great escape

FORMER All Black Colin Slade scored 15 points as Pau saw off Gloucester on Thursday night.
Trailing 20-0 after 55 minutes, Gloucester made a late attempt at a comeback but at 20-14, with momentum on their side, a poorly executed Owen Williams crosskick went straight into the arms of former New Zealand Sevens star Frank Halai, who sprinted in for a try.
