Coaches endorse League-style rolling subs system

BATH coach Toby Booth has called for the introduction of rolling substitutions – or interchanges as they are known in Rugby League – as a means of eradicating situations that have seen sides reduced to 14-men following head injuries.
Booth has received strong backing from Doncaster boss Clive Griffiths, whose vast experience of the interchange system from stints in Rugby League makes him believe that introducing it in Union is “common sense”.
