BLACKHEATH marched to a comfortable victory against Hull Ionians, scoring eight tries in a match they controlled from start to finish.
The scrum gave the hosts dominance throughout, and as a penalty was won from the first set-piece and the ball found its way to touch, Harry Fry held the ball at the base of the maul before Leo Fielding crossed out wide.
Chris Bell answered with three points for Ionians, but although the Yorkshiremen moved the ball sweetly at times, it was Blackheath who produced the better retention and off-loading...
