Lions return for Leinster but still lack killer instinct

EDINBURGH out-half Jason Tovey scored all 13 points for his side, including an intercept try, but they came up just short of a losing bonus point against Conference B rivals Leinster at RDS on Friday.
The Scots had been victorious on only two of 14 visits to Leinster in the league and trailed only 14-13 at half-time after Tovey’s inspirational personal display.
Jordi Murphy and Joey Carbery had dotted down for the hosts who then pushed for home in the second-half after Jamie Ritchie saw yellow for Edinburgh.
