Not many people have played first team rugby for Bath, Bristol and Gloucester. I can only think of myself, Alistair Saverimutto and Alex Brown. All three clubs have their own unique qualities and I enjoyed my time at all immensely.
To join Bath when they were still in their pomp was incredible. I remember playing in a United (2nds) game where I was the only non-capped player in the team such was the quality around me. Dawesy (Graham Dawe) was very much firstchoice but, at 20 years of age, I still got to sit on the bench...
