Billy’s hurt again as long-season row grows

BILLY Vunipola was back on the injured list last night, helped off during Saracens’ victory over Sale with a knee injury.
Saracens rugby director Mark McCall called it “cruel luck”, coming so soon after Vunipola had returned from shoulder surgery for last weekend’s game against Newcastle in Philadelphia.
McCall said: “He’s getting a scan, and it’s definitely a knee injury, the same knee as against Argentina last year. We’re praying it’s not as bad as it looks.”
