Investec may return to rugby

INVESTEC could not have picked a better time to make a return to rugby sponsorship after terminating their deal with the ECB. The South African bank and asset management firm were autumn international sponsors until they opted to sponsor Test cricket.
They signed a ten year deal with the ECB in 2011 but ended it early after England’s shirt sponsorship was sold to banking rival Natwest.
Investec are now looking to get back into rugby which is timely as the Six Nations need a new sponsor after their deal with RBS ran out.
