Hanson on his way to Gloucester

GLOUCESTER have signed Wallaby hooker James Hanson on a short term deal from the Melbourne Rebels.
Hanson has just signed a new deal with the Rebels and hopes to win a recall to the Wallaby squad in time for the 2019 World Cup.
He will spend three months with the Cherry and Whites after they were knocked back by the Lions for Akker van der Merwe.
The Lions said the 26- year-old wasn’t available after being approached by Johan Ackermann, but the Rebels were happy to release Hanson.
