Scorching Scarlets lift gloom with another rout

SCARLETS put another team to the sword at the start of their defence of the Guinness PRO14 title as they ran in five tries in the Parma rain.
The weather was totally different to the sunshine that had allowed the Scarlets to run in eight tries in their opening round 57-10 demolition of Southern Kings as the heavens opened and kept pouring down throughout.
Wayne Pivac told his players to play territory and protect the ball, yet they still brought their free running approach to proceedings despite the horrendous conditions.
