Slater can propel Gloucester to top 6

IT didn’t take long for Ed Slater to show exactly what Gloucester have gained and what Leicester will be missing this season.
He came off the bench against Exeter on Friday and he swayed the game in the Cherry and Whites’ favour being a right “dog” at the breakdown and securing a handful of vital turnovers.
He didn’t deserve to be treated that way by Leicester and it wouldn’t surprise me if Gloucester now make the top six with such grunt up front.
