Captain Garvey’s out to checkmate Leicester

MATT GARVEY knows he will have to play chess while he plays rugby when Bath take on Leicester in the Premiership opener – but he is looking forward to it.
Garvey reckons the George Ford/Freddie Burns switch will give each team insights of how the other work.
He says: “Every team holds back in pre-season so the first half will be a game of chess with both teams trying to work each other out.”
