FORMER Sale lock Jonathan Mills has revealed how a chance meeting with Leicester flyhalf Joe Ford this summer paved the way for him accepting a player-coaching role with Major League Rugby start-up franchise Dallas Griffins.
Ford’s father, former England and Bath coach Mike, is head of rugby operations in Dallas and with Mills keen to kickstart his coaching career after leaving Sale, he describes the decision to head to the States as a “no brainer”.
