Late Collins try earns local bragging rights for Saints

NORTHAMPTON won the first East Midlands derby of the season as a late try from Tom Collins helped them beat Leicester 24-22 to claim the Bowl trophy at the Premiership Sevens in front of their home crowd.
Owen Waters and Leicester drew first blood with a converted try but two tries from George Furbank and Tom Collins gave Saints a narrow 10-7 lead at the break.
Tigers went 21-7 in front quickly in the second half after tries from Tom Fitch and Charlie Dockery.
