I MUST say I disagree with Brendan Gallagher’s proposal of Lions tours to Argentina – the Pumas simply aren’t good enough yet.
For England to go down there and beat a full-strength Pumas outfit while missing almost an entire team shows that unfortunately Argentina are not a viable option.
They may become one in the future but for now the Lions must stick to touring the ‘Big Three’.
