Vaughan: Altrad veto was so short-sighted

Gloucester chief executive Stephen Vaughan this week broke his silence over the aborted takeover bid of the club by French billionaire Mohad Altrad, owner of Marseille in the Top 14.
Vaughan told me: “Mohad Altrad is a quality operator, and a highly successful entrepreneur who loves his rugby and wanted to invest in the English game.
