Punchy Italians make Blues work for the points

GARETH Anscombe provided just enough of a cushion for Blues to hold off a determined second half rally from the Italians.
An Anscombe-inspired Blues looked firmly in control when they led 23-3 at the interval, but three yellow cards and some weak scrummaging had the hosts crying out for the final whistle.
