Exiles confident in-demand Venter can retain club focus

BRENDANVenter will continue as London Irish technical director despite joining the South African coaching team as well as acting as Italy’s defence coach.
Nick Kennedy, the London Irish director of rugby, confirmed to TRP that Venter’s new job as the Springboks’ defence and exits coach – making him the most influential coach in world rugby – will not affect his commitment to Irish.
The Exiles are already guaranteed a play-off place in the Championship and remain firm favourites to bounce straight back into the Premiership next season.
