ROELOF SMIT, the Blue Bulls flanker who is out of contract at the end of the year has expressed an interest in heading to Europe.
Smit, 24, who has been capped by South Africa at U20 level has been attracting interest from Pro 12 regions in Ireland and Wales.
He has won one cap for a Springbok XV against the Barbarians. He also qualifies for an EU passport.
