Rowntree reprises Lions role to assist Borthwick

GRAHAM Rowntree and Neil Jenkins have been appointed assistant coaches for this summer’s British & Irish Lions tour of New Zealand.
Rowntree has twice toured with the Lions as a coach, taking care of scrummaging affairs in South Africa in 2009 and moving into the forwards coach role for the successful trip to Australia in 2013.
Now in his first season as Harlequins forwards coach, Rowntree, below, has been released by the club for the summer in order to take up a role with Warren Gatland’s coaching team.
