Beddau the main winners despite the rain

THERE were wins for Beddau and Glamorgan Wanderers in the Welsh Championship, but three games fell victim to the weather on a fallow weekend in the fixture list.
Beddau used the lack of fixtures to their advantage, climbing level on points with third-placed Narberth with a 30-16 win at home to Skewen.
After falling behind to an early penalty, Beddau took the lead through an excellent finish from scrum-half Dai Francis, which put them 7-3 in front.
