Hat-trick hooker Antonio joins the big time at Wasps

SCORING a ten-minute hat-trick for has clearly done wonders for Antonio ‘TJ' Harris' profile as the Nottingham hooker has earned himself a move to Premiership high flyers .

Harris entered Nottingham folklore over the festive period when he came off the bench in the 68th-minute and promptly dotted down three times as the Green and Whites threatened to pull off an improbable comeback against .

While Nottingham ultimately lost the game 24-17, having once trailed by three scores, Harris' headline-grabbing antics clearly made Wasps sit up and take notice.

Harris, a promising boxer in his youth, took up rugby while at Woodlands Academy in , which counts Neil Back, Danny Grewcock and Tom Wood among former pupils.

The 22-year-old joined Nottingham from , where he had played for 18 months. Before that, he played in New Zealand for North Otago and was part of the academy setup.
