Sale investigated over possible Ioane concussion

Sale are being investigated by a Concussion Management Review Group over their role in the handling of TJ Ioane in the 29-26 defeat to Harlequins last weekend.
The incident under investigation took place in the 30^th minute and the flanker played on in the match, providing a crossfield kick for winger Denny Solomona to score in the 77^th minute.
The RFU and Premiership Rugby have appointed Dr Julian Morris to be the independent chairman and will be joined by the RFU's Director of Professional Rugby Nigel Melville and Phil Winstanley the Rugby Director at Premiership Rugby.
A joint update from the RFU and Premiership Rugby will be provided in seven days time on January 20 and no further comment will be made until that date.
