Get tested for Prostate Cancer at The Stoop this Sunday

Men attending the  vs rugby game at 3.15pm on Sunday 27th November at The Stoop, Twickenham will be able to get PSA testing from Tackle and The Graham Fulford Trust.
Last year, this testing at The Stoop helped diagnose a man with prostate cancer. If caught early, this test is vital to get men treated and beat the disease.
1 in 8 men will get prostate cancer in their lifetime. The higher risk group includes men who have a close member of their family who had prostate cancer or breast cancer, who are African Caribbean or over 50.
Tackle Chairman Roger Wotton commented: “We're happy to be providing testing with Graham Fulford Charitable Trust again at The Stoop. This gives us a chance to get men talking about their health and can even save lives by catching prostate cancer early.
“The whole idea is for men to get a score on the board so they can continue to monitor their PSA score or get further tests if they have a high result. With the likes of Jason Leonard and the Harlequinscoaches who got tested last year, we hope it will encourage men to get tested and to encourage their friends and team mates to do the same.”
Tackle has over 80 support groups throughout the country and the nearest ones surrounding Twickenham are Purley Prostate Cancer Support Group, Guy's and St.Thomas' Prostate Cancer Support Group, Cancer Black Care (Camberwell) and Compass Support Group (Slough).
