Sale sign London Irish hooker

Curtis Langdon has revealed he sees joining as a stepping-stone to getting first team rugby.
The young hooker joined the Sharks in the summer having played for last season and he is excited to what the future holds for him.
He said: “It's been really good so far, it's a great bunch of lads, and the facilities are really good. It's a great coaching set up and I'm just excited for the future here.
“The opportunity arose to come here, and it seemed the best decision for me, with the new owners coming in at Sale, it's a real club that's going forward.”
The hooker reveals he didn't know many of the squad before signing: “I've moved in with Matt Postlethwaite, who's made me feel really welcome, and Jake Pope has been good too – all the academy lads have made feel part of the team straight away. I actually played with Paolo Odogwu at U20's.
“I definitely see this as a chance to play first team rugby. There aren't too many hookers here so I hope there will be opportunities to play for the first team and then I hope to kick on.
“I've been already working a lot with Rob Webber & Briggsy with my throwing and other aspects of my game, doing some throwing after sessions- they've got a vast amount of experience in the game, so I hope that will help me as a young player to grow and get better.”
