Ryan Wilson suspended for three months

and forward Ryan Wilson has today been banned for three months by the Scottish Rugby Union.
The ban follows his assault conviction after attacking two Glasgow Hawks players back in 2013.
The back-rower, who will not be paid during his ban, will therefore miss the upcoming and has been ordered to “undertake a programme organised through and Scottish Rugby to support his personal development around the factors which contributed to the original conviction.”
Wilson will not be invited to play for the Scotland national team until August 23. This date is ahead of the third and fourth warm up games against and .
