Dream Team: Declan Cusack – Doncaster fly-half

1. Luke Cowan-Dickie – I only played with him a few times down at Plymouth Albion and he was still a loosehead. Very aggressive and keen to get stuck in.
2. Mike Sherry – He's always reliable for Munster, he would also keep spirits high in my team. Would love to see him add to his sole Irish cap.
3. John Hayes – A true Munster and Ireland legend. He played at the highest level for over a decade and he was the cornerstone of every pack he played in.
4. Paul O'Connell – Another Irish legend in my team. League and Europe titles with Munster, Six Nations and Grand Slams with Ireland, Lions tour, he won it all. Nothing else to add really.
5. Glenn Young – He came down to the Knights on loan from Newcastle last season. Super athletic, excellent skills and a genius when it comes to World War II trivia.
6. Jack Ram – The Tongan international has only been in Donny a few months but he is full of effort and a very intelligent football player.
7. Peter O'Mahony – The new Munster captain is an aggressive human being and an excellent leader. He always gives his best and only an injury will slow him down.
8. Afa Amosa – Now with La Rochelle in the Top14, I played with Afa in Spain for Gernika. He's always full of joy and energy which shows on and off the field.
9. Conor Murray – That guy has all the skills to play at either scrum-half or fly-half. A joy to play with back in Ireland. To top it all he's as neat and tidy off the field as he is on it.
10. Ronan O'Gara – If in doubt over how good Ronan was as a fly-half, look up his Grand Slam winning drop goal in 2009 or his try against Leinster in the 2006 Heineken Cup semi-final.
11. Keith Earls – The Damien Duff of Irish rugby. Silent but lethal when you least expect him to be. An excellent bloke off the field too.
12. Will Hurrell – He was outstanding with Doncaster last season as we pushed Bristol hard for promotion to the Premiership. A gainline machine with the weirdest body shape ever.
13. Barry Murphy – The old Munster centre was quick, skilful and always good for a laugh. Shame he had to retire at only 28 in 2011. Now a full-time musician he is pencilled in for social/entertainment secretary.
14. Doug Howlett – Very intelligent player. His try scoring record speaks for itself really. He still is to this day the most prolific try scorer in All-Blacks and Super Rugby history.
15. Paul Jarvis – The Knights full-back should be a punt returner in the NFL. Loose kicks to this back three would lead to very entertaining rugby.
