Time for a clearout of the England shambles

AS a rugby supporter for more than 70 years I feel I have a right to a few comments. To clarify I will provide a little history from the 1950s omnwards.

I was a supporter of the original world famous Penzance and Newlyn Pirates that no longer exist, having been eradicated by a cuckoo in the nest. I was a supporter of Cornwall in the good old times of the County before it became something of a sham due to more important finances deeming it unnecessary. Supporter of the regional trials that produced some of the greatest players to wear an shirt with pride, now defunct due to 's shambolic creating of their own rules (and changing them to their own benefit), appalling ring-fencing and players outside the chosen sheep being considered “unwelcome”. And now the disastrous bankruptcy endemic in the Premiership and lower divisions.

I am still a supporter (under extreme modern duress) of England. Hypocritically, English failings have provided me substantial finance due to obvious gambles being made.

The time must now be long overdue for a total clearout of the English shambles. The 2019 was there to be won, had the right team been picked. Two of the great leader/tacticians and ignored then supposed to produce miracles.

Four years on, having shown the process to win by Ford once again, England faced with only one game of importance again ignored match winners, and lost. This after all of the top sides had been locked in their different groups knocking the stuffing out of each game after game.

The appalling ring fencing now being applied so the international set up is about to be destroyed as well.

was both financially and rugby-wise a disaster unfit for the job, with England having won nothing of benefit. Steve Borthwick apparently learnt nothing, still unable to dump this ongoing nightmare core, draining the availability of far better players and finance.
