Dominant Ipswich march on with more silverware

Schools rugby is now sevens-centric heading through February with an array of sevens spectacles of varying geographic importance.
Seaford Tens cup champions Ipswich continued their extraordinary form to win the inaugural Hurstpierpoint Sevens tournament. In a showcase of Hurstpierpoint’s immediate prominence on the sevens calendar, Ipswich had to fend off Eton College in the pool stage, before beating Tonbridge 40-35 in an incredible semi-final.
They then beat Trinity 26-7 in the final to claim their second piece of silverware in as many weeks.
