Sport is full of sliding doors moments, and one of the most poignant of all came to mind this week with the death of Neville Glyn Davies at the age of 95.
If you ever chance upon the official programme for Wales’ last win over New Zealand - it will be the 70th anniversary later this month - you will see the name of Neville Glyn Davies listed in the backrow alongside John Gwiliam of Gloucester and RCC Thomas of Swansea.
