Ashman signs for Edinburgh

SCOTLAND hooker Ewan Ashman will join Edinburgh from Sale this summer on a four-year deal.

The 23-year-old, who has seven caps, said: “I'm buzzing to be joining Edinburgh – it's a team I've always supported.

“As a city, Edinburgh has always felt like home. It's where my family is from and I can't wait to move back there.”

Mike Blair, who is set to step down as Edinburgh head coach at the end of this season, said: “Ewan is a top prospect. He brings a lot of quality to the position and is only going to get better.”
