STORMERS fought back from 12 points down to claim an impressive win.

Jordan Hendrikse slotted two early penalties for the Lions, but the Stormers hit back when Paul de Wet took a quick penalty and Angelo Davids scored.

The Lions were reduced to 14 men when Hendrikse was pinged for a swinging arm, but the Stormers failed to capitalise, with Sanele Nohamba kicking two penalties for the hosts.

The Lions struck late in the half when good work from Andries Coetzee, Ruan Venter and Emmanuel Tshituka saw Henco van Wyk into space to score for 22-10.

Stormers hit back when Manie Libbok's kick in behind the defence put Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu in and with 10 minutes to go, Clayton Blommetjies ran the perfect line and Libbok's conversion put the Stormers ahead 24-22.

They secured victory when Nama Xaba went over from a lineout maul.
