STADE Francais are keen to lure Dragons back row Ross Moriarty to this summer.

Moriarty, 28, has won 49 caps and would become ineligible for Test selection due to the WRU's 60-cap policy.

He made the last of his Wales appearances against last October when he suffered a shoulder injury.

Nerve damage suffered to his left knee against the Sharks in Durban on April 1 could rob him of the chance of breaking back into 's squad for this summer's tour to .

The Grand Slam winner signed a new deal with the WRU in March 2020 after winning an appeal against the terms originally offered. At the time he was attracting serious interest from Top 14 sides Toulon,  and Lyon.

Stade are looking at Moriarty because they are losing back rowers Tala Gray (to Grenoble) and former Antoine Burban who is retiring.

Moriarty can play No.8 and which has put him at the top of Stade's summer shopping list, and he is now thinking over what is the best move for his career.

Moriarty, 28, joined the Dragons in 2018 after six years with . The former U18 and U20 international was a tourist in 2017.
