THE Stormers continued their winning momentum by stunning highly-fancied Sharks in Cape Town.

Since the URC resumed, the Stormers have beaten the at Loftus and drawn with the Sharks in Durban.

Seabelo Senatla produced a moment of individual brilliance that led to the opening score of a turgid game. Great hands puts him in space and drew the last man, grubbered ahead and collected to score three minutes before half-time.

Both Stormers centres Dan du Plessis and Ruhan Nel wasted gilt-edged chances in the second half but they eventually made good on their dominance when Andre Smith barged over in the 52nd minute.

The Sharks clawed back through replacement scrum-half Grant Williams' 63rd-minute try after Lukhanyo Am's offload created space.

But the Stormers closed out the win with a penalty from Manie Libbok.
